Since version 4.0, the WP Statistics plugin is recommended for tracking page views and other powerful features.

WP Statistics is a freemium plugin, and its free version is sufficient for most cases. You can download it for free at:

If you plan to purchase additional add-ons, consider supporting us by using our affiliate :). Your support helps maintain integration

After installing and activating the plugin:

Step 1: Navigate to Statistics > Settings > Roles & Permissions, and set the "Minimum Role to View Statistics" option to "read" capability, or a custom capability.

Step 2: Navigate to your Frontend Dashboard > Settings > Capabilities, select "WP Statistics", click the search button, and choose the role you want to grant permission to view statistics.

It is advised not to grant the "view_all_statistics" capability to regular authors or other low-permission members.

Done!
